The Gordon Family have been in the meat industry for four generations stretching from Roma to Wondoan to Chinchilla. It all stared in Wallumbilla with Nile Gordon and his two son Mal & Don and moved to Roma in to the Aurthar street butcher now know as Ladbrooks Butchery.

 

Mal Gordon then went on to buy the shop in Miles know as Gordons Butchery as well as the Mayne St shop in Chinchilla know also as Gordons Butchery, with his son Steven who served his apprenticeship under Mal.

 

Steven then went on to buy Gordons Butchery in Chichilla in 1995. Then moved into the Purple Cow in 2009. Now Steven & Mary along side with there son Nick who has started his aprrenticeship in 2013.
